Gael Greene, (born 1935), is an American food critic currently known for her appearances as a judge on the Bravo tv show Top Chef Masters. For more than 30 years, Greene served as New York magazine's "Insatiable Critic," famously going to great lengths to conceal her identity from restaurateurs. Greene is also the co-founder of Citymeals-on-Wheels, which helps to feed the homebound elderly in New York City.

Greene is known as a sensualist; her first novel, Blue Skies, No Candy, (1976) describes female sexual experience in sybaritic culinary language. Her second novel, Doctor Love,(1982) explores the male sexual experience through an epicurean perspective. Greene's memoir, Insatiable: Tales from a Life of Delicious Excess (2006) includes a description of a sexual encounter with Elvis Presley.
